I thought I would take up the challenge from Cute Card Thursday and do the Girls Just wanna have fun challenge, it also fits in nicely with a card I have to make for an up coming birthday. I have used a Sugar Nellie stamp and papers from Pink Petticoat. I have paper pieced the ballerina's dress too, using Pink Petticoat papers too. The sentiment has been made on the computer and the flowers, gems and ribbon from my stash. I can see I will be churning out a whole collection of these little Sugar Nellies in a range of Pink Petticoat colours.

Ok its official - I am now the mum of a TEENAGER. Happy Birthday Euton!
The card has been made using Sugar Nellie Skater Boy stamp and the background done using the background plates from Pink Cat Studio Billy Stamps. Some black ribbon and a strip of paper from my stash. I have computer generated the Teenager description and senitment on the card. The cake is Euton's favourite - dark chocolate filled with chocolate mousse.

Ultimate Chocolate Cake

I made this card using shaving foam and food colouring to create the background card. The butterfly is an image from Dover Book of Chinese images (a prize for a card of mine which was in lucky enough to be printed in Making Cards magazine). I outlined the image with a black Sakura pen for some faux embossing. I had this card shown off in Papercraft Essentials Magazine....for which I was sent a copy of the magazine and some brilliant papers etc

Three more cards made using Billy Stamps from Pink Cat Studio. The Background paper used in each of these cards are the Dovecraft designer papers from the masculine and charcoal packs. The cowboys oval background has been made using the Majestic scoreboard from Keepsake a wet teabag to get the dusty aged effect!

Debbie at Crafting Fairy is having a blog candy competition to celebrate her birthday. All you have to do is make a girly birthday card featuring ribbons and pretty papers. I have made mine using some papers and flowers from my stash - actually the papers came free in a magazine but I cant remember which one and the image is from Pink Petticoat. I have used some seed beads to decorate the image and white pen to create some faux stitching.

Here are two more little guys from the Pink Cat Studio Billy stamps. I have used the background stamps to create the background on the aperture for the pirate. Tried some glitter on the cloak of the little super hero - I think it works really well x

Happy Birthday to the Man of the House. Yes it's my hubby's birthday today so I baked him a lemon sponge cake which has been layered with white chocolate mousse and covered in cream and chocolate curls - wicked!
